Baldy Mountain, near Osoyoos and Oliver, British Columbia, in the Okanagan Valley operates a personal winter and summer mountain destination attractive to visitors who come to explore outdoor activities for what they are - healthy, active and fun - enjoying a laid back atmosphere and not for the amenities and glitz other resorts sometimes market and offer.

Mount Baldy is about the simple things in winter and summer activities like good snow conditions, wilderness hiking trails, good people service and quality ski lifts to get you to the top in the winter. In the summer the wilderness trails and the natural environment become your guide and confidant.

The winter season on Baldy Mountain brings out the skiers and snowboarders looking to ski and snowboard hard and often. The mountain is equipped with the basic means of transportation like the Eagle double chair which takes you to the top of a 1500 vertical foot terrain and the T-bar provides 600 vertical feet of skiing fun and plenty of wipe out room for the falls and spills. No high speed quad ski chair on Baldy Mountain, but then there is also rarely lineups and large crowds either.

The cottage and cabin accommodations on Baldy Mountain are simple with no distractions close to the village of Baldy. Skiers and snowboarders are close to the village so they can access some of the village activities like attend the snow school, enjoy a cup of coffee at the cafe, socialize at the lounge and gear up at the rental and retail shops. Plus in the summer months there is a championship 18 hole frisbee golf courses on the mountain. A real treat!

Baldy Mountain is also a destination for the snowshoe crowd as the mountain has over 20 kilometres of trails to explore. The snowshoeing trails are groomed and well maintained by a local nordic club.
